Guzaarish

What is there in a magician's life when there is no more magic....Ethanasia. That is what this exemplary view was all about. "Merci - Killing" though does not speak much of a merciful act, has been handled quite well. Ethan Masceranhas, a magician, the Merlin, was suffering from paralysis from 12 years when he decided to file a petition in court requesting for Euthanasia, which was  rejected by all and the court.

Ethan, played by Hrithik Roshan who had to prove his mettle every time when people noticed nothing but his dancing skills and hot looks, proved his acting skills this time.
A man who is more known for his gracious moves, moved the audience with taking a single step through every act of smile and laughter. He has proved versatility yet again. Ethan was supported well by Sophia, Ethan's nurse played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who showed her flair and charisma in a different role which was sensible and chemical. In a word...Well Done ! (ok thats two words)

The movie shot in the serene beauty of Goa and the tranquil monsoon settings was a watch for the eyes. Sanjay Leela Bansali's direction and Sudeep Chatterjee's cinematography made me gape throughout the show. It was magical. Music was not very great but was good enough with a difference with 'Udi' heading the charts for some time. Overall the acting was so good that the other flaws which was not much noticeable to me could be easily ignored.  So overall I could say one thing at the end..a hit jodi and a hit movie and awards just knocking at the door.
